Created from a video fragment taken from my family archive that I recorded at the age of 9 and shows my mother descending into the 

water of a shining river. The images were slowed down through a particular software slow motion system and combined with the 

field recording of a crematorium.

Catarsi was produced with the collaboration of the curator Daniele Astrologo during the art residency which lasted 6 months at the San Fedele Foundation in Milan.

1st classified Premio ArtiVisive San Fedele 2016/2017.
